 - What is the Dukan diet


 The Ducan diet, called the French medical solution for permanent weight loss, is considered the best in mandatory systemic food intake, as it includes only 72 types of foods to choose from in the first stage, and for carbohydrates, it is the enemy, even if it comes from fruits and vegetables,  Let's go deeper and know what the Dukan diet is, follow us.

- Diet Dukan


 .  The Pierre Ducan protein and the carbohydrate-rich plan was first published in France in 2000 under the name “Je ne sais pas maigrir” (I don't know how to lose weight).

 .  Until 2010 the Dokan movement arrived in the UK, which was renamed the Dokan Diet, and despite being the new feat boy who made a carb-free lump, Dokan carved his name in the weight loss market with little help from some fairly well-known fans.

 .  It was reported that Kate Middleton, in the run-up to her royal wedding, lost two sizes of clothes according to the Dokan method.

 .  Pierre Ducan started his medical career specializing in Neurology but was allegedly switched to nutrition after recommending a protein-rich diet for weight loss due to a friend of his.

 .  Dokan, affected by the rapid decline in his friend's size, began developing and researching the diet, eventually making him a household name so far, Dukan Diet book has sold over eight million copies worldwide and has been translated into 14 different languages.


* Diet for Dukan

 .  The theory is that limiting carbohydrates forces your body to burn fat. You can eat unlimited amounts of food, as long as they are included in the list of approved foods that contain very few of these carbohydrates if any.

 .  The original Dukan diet is similar to the ketogenic diet, as both emphasize the consumption of fats and protein, but delete carbohydrates.

 .  Where the body will turn to stores of glycogen (carbohydrates) to obtain energy first if supplies are abundant, and thus ketogenic diets force the body to switch from burning carbohydrates for energy to burning fat.

 .  This often has a desirable effect of weight loss although high levels of ketones in the body can be a problem and may lead to a condition known as ketogenesis.

 * The four stages of the Dukan diet


 Stage of attack

 .  This first stage lasts between five and ten days and leads to immediate results, dieters have 72 protein-rich foods to choose from, with no carbohydrates allowed at all.

 Cruise stage

 .  Although the days of pure protein are still encouraged, carbohydrates are slowly reproduced in the form of 28 pre-approved vegetables and Dokan users remain at this stage until they reach the desired weight.

 The standardization stage

 .  Foods previously banned, such as fruit and dairy, are gradually reintegrated as followers are given until two celebrations a week, as they are allowed to eat almost anything they like, but some restrictions remain in place.

 Stability stage

 .  If you can re-enter carbohydrates again in your life without re-weighing you, you are allowed to move strangely to stage 4 and unlock the rules of life.
 .  The length of time people spend on a diet depends on their current weight, fitness, and goal weight.


- Dukan Diet 2


 .  Since the development of the original Dukan diet, a second program has been formulated that essentially reflects the original standardization stage. Dukan 2 includes seven steps and each step represents the nutritional inclusion of a food group.

 .  The first and second steps include eating unlimited amounts of 100 permitted foods, which include natural proteins, which are the first step and vegetables the second step.

 .  Subsequent steps include the gradual addition of fruit, bread, cheese, and other starches, such as pasta.

 .  During the very restrictive first stage, you can expect to lose weight very quickly, which of course will act as a great motivator, and the diet is especially attractive for those who do not like calorie calculation, and they prefer a more systematic way of eating because it determines exactly what you can get.

 .  Unlike the Atkins diet, the Dukan diet restricts fats and eliminates vegetables in the first stage, and with gradual restoration of some fruits, vegetables, and carbohydrates in the later stages of the diet.

 .  Some reports indicate that the stabilization stage, which is the last of the four stages, is the stage that causes the most problems.

 .  This is because it is difficult to reintroduce a wide variety of foods without re-weighing, and many followers find it difficult to adhere to the dedicated weekly "Protein Day".

- Dokan Diet Damages


 .  There is limited scientific support that the Dukan diet is effective and sustainable in the long run, although you can expect to lose weight in the very strict initial stages of the diet.

 .  However, most of them regain the weight that they originally lost, and one of the surveys indicates that 80% of people regain weight within more than 4 years.

 .  More importantly, the diet ignores the basic principles of healthy eating including the importance of fruits and vegetables, the benefits of whole grains and fiber and the health benefits that have been achieved by choosing from a variety of food groups.

 .  For these reasons, the diet is more likely to be nutritionally unbalanced, and it can be said that the Dukan Diet 2 diet tries to address the problem of nutritional imbalance by systematically introducing a wider group of food groups over a short period and it is said that weight loss as a slower and more consequence  Gradually, which requires a long-term commitment to the plan.

 .  As a result of eating a restricted diet low in carbohydrates sometimes people face energy shortages, fatigue, and dizziness due to low carbohydrate levels, bad breath, and dry mouth.

 .  There is no evidence that a full day of protein intake, along with exercise, is enough to maintain your weight loss.

 .  Although a diet can lead to weight loss, which can help in some health conditions, the risks may outweigh the benefits. If you are taking a drug for diabetes, you will likely need to change your dose, because the first two stages are very low in carbohydrates.

 .  If you have kidney disease, you may get more protein than your college can treat.

 .  If you suffer from heart disease or digestive disorders, you will lose healthy heart fibers.

 .  The downside is that this plan does not teach healthy eating habits for life, and the most problematic is that it recommends staying in the standardization stage until you reach your goal, and if you have a lot of weight to lose, this stage may continue for several months or even years, which may lead to a system  Insufficient food.


- Some preferences or restrictions during the Dukan diet


 .  This diet is based on eating lots of lean meats, poultry, fish, shellfish, lean dairy products, and lean eggs.

 .  Seitan, Tampa, and tofu are the available vegetable protein options. Beans, nuts, and lentils are not included in the list of permitted foods.

 .  On days when everything you eat is a protein (fruits or vegetables are not allowed), things can get boring quickly if you don't eat meat.

 .  Following a low-fat diet, If you are on a low-fat diet or have a heart disease that requires eating low-fat foods, this diet may be appropriate for you, because permitted foods, especially protein, vegetables, and fruits are free and low-fat, or fat-free.

 .  Gluten-Free Early stages of the diet may follow a gluten-free diet, but with careful consideration of the rules it is not completely gluten-free, and if you are trying to avoid gluten completely, make it usual to read food labels carefully.

 .  Unlike protein-rich diets, this plan focuses on fat-free protein sources on those that are high in saturated fat, and protein can make you feel full for a longer period helping you lose weight.

 .  If you are looking to lose a relatively small amount of weight quickly this diet may work for you, if you are over 50 years old or have diabetes, or you need to lose a lot of weight talk to your doctor first.
